Tropical Stud Poker is an exciting variation of classic poker where
players compete against the dealer, not each other. The game follows standard poker
hand rankings and offers both Ante and optional Bonus bets for extra rewards.
- The game is played using one 52-card deck. The game uses standard poker rules
for ranking and comparing hands.
- The player places his mandatory Ante wager, plus an optional Bonus bet.
- The player and the dealer are dealt five cards, with the dealer’s last (5th)
card turned face up.
- The player must make a decision to either Fold, Bet, or Draw.
- FOLD: The player’s five cards are discarded. The dealer
collects
the losing Ante.
- BET: The player places a wager of 2x the Ante in the BET box.
- You have an opportunity to change one of your cards before taking final
decision. The change is allowed two times per round.
- DRAW: If you change a card for the first time, it will cost you
your Ante.
- REDRAW: If you change a card for the second time, it will cost
you two times your Ante.
- To change a card, click on the card, and then click DRAW (or) REDRAW.
- If the player invoked the Exchange option, then the Fold or Bet decision will be
made based on the new hand.
- The dealer’s cards are then opened and the poker value of the hand declared.
- If the dealer qualifies with a hand of Ace-King or higher, the player’s hand
will
be settled as follows:
- If the dealer’s hand does not qualify, you receive a 1 to 1 payout on the Ante.
- Player wins: If the dealer qualifies but you have the better
hand, you get back your bets and receive a 1 to 1 payout on your Ante, and the
Bet
is paid out according to your hand as indicated in the paytable.
- Tie: If both hands are equal, you get back your Ante and Bet.
- Dealer wins: If the dealer qualifies but your hand loses, Ante
and Bet go to the dealer (Bonus bet settled separately).
- The Bonus bet pays based on the player’s initial cards only, according to the
Bonus paytable.
